Nuptials at Piedmont Garden
The color story of Jaylnn and Tyler’s wedding really set the tone for her makeup look. It was very warm, colorful yet very classic. For Jaylynn’s look we opted for very warm neutral tones like amber, coffee, rust and chocolate. Jaylnn wore her hair in a natural style adorned with real flowers so I really wanted to ensure that her look didn't overpower the very effortless and earthy vibe of this day. I opted for a very natural yet defined eye and used orange tones on her cheeks which is a go to for women of color. My favorites are Marena Beaute Sweet Brown and Nars Taj Mahal.
Naturally Beautiful
Since we opted to do more natural tones for Jaylynn, I had to be sure to create dimension in her skin to ensure the shades didn't get lost on her skin. I used an underpainting technique to create warmth and lightly contour Jaylnn’s face. I love using a fluffy natural haired brush to flawlessly layer a powder bronzer onto the skin. Gucci Beauty makes some really beautiful ones.
